Love, Breakups Zindagi & Where the heck have i been??
Well hellooo, iv been at home actually the weekend break spilled into the weekdays, but honestly I'm glad for the break, got to catch up with friends/family and my on going career drama, saw me at a college open day. but as you know, couple days off and the work piles up. Lot of fashion show pictures for you, crammed full of inspiration. I'll be sharing details of our trip to London to see Pakistan Fashion Week, boy do i love that city, but the traffic!!

It turns out I'm quite the Bollywood geek, so here I go again, Dia Mirza, who really isn't a bad actress hasn't really had the most success with her films, is she too pretty? I'm looking forward to her new film, {its a first} even if its just for all the Ritu Kumar suits she wears.

Wedding of the Year? Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 Poster & A Twilight Inspired Wedding
It may be called Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1, but they should have called it Twilight Saga: The Wedding.
It hits screens later this year,and if your a fan, you'll be eager to see the Carolina Herrera wedding dress that Kristen Stewart, aka Bella Swan, wears when she marries Edward.
It's sure to be a stunner and the good news is that bridal company Alfred Angelo have announced that they will be reproducing the design for all Bella wannabes and future brides.
Heres a look at the brand new poster, we see the rather dazzling wedding rings.

This couple was willing to do whatever it took to make this happen, so we came up with a concept which included an instant edit of their mehndi celebrations on Thursday. Jaws dropped on Saturday night during the reception, the guests still can’t stop talking about this film, and Sarah and Ahmer can’t be more thrilled. Mission accomplished!"

Wedding Film - Isha & Kunal | The Proposal By Ramit Batra
This is just a little taster for you, of the things to come.
Contemporary wedding photographer Ramit Batra (he also happens to be a Mechanical Engineer) got in touch with some cracking pictures and I'm SO glad he did I'm loving the style. wow and oohhh where used more than once, while a had browse though this work!
Now do you automatically think what the wedding pictures will be like, what styles the couple will choose, the dress the bride might wear? when you see engagement session pictures? i do, this couple seems pretty modern, so i assume they might do something simple, elegant and quirky, what do you think? how do you imagine this couple will look in their Hindu wedding??

Get ready to smile, laugh and maybe even get a little emotional! You know your watching something special, if it makes you want to do all that, at the same time!! :)
Made by the ace team at Unico Weddings, I'm already a fan of their work, and i must admit i am getting a little obsessed with cinematography lately, but only the cinematography that pushes it to the next level, that's exactly what they do.
Run by Simeon Quarrie here's what he had to say about this wedding -
"This has got to be one of the liveliest Hindu wedding ceremonies our team has experienced. The day was crammed with laughter and smiles. The Pandit leading the ceremony was also very strict. Twitch in the wrong way and be publicly humiliated! Very entertaining."

The Wedding Filmer - Add some filmi magic to your wedding!!
I'm having wedding film envy right now, I saw these films on a couple of blogs now, and they make me grin like Cheshire cat! The couples personalities really shine, that’s is of course down to the lovely couples, but its also down to the the one doing the shooting, and the man in questions is, Vishal Punjabi - The Wedding Filmer!
Until recently he was producing and directing commercials for Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment a place he worked for over ten years, doing graphics and visual effects for films like Main Hoon Na, Paheli, Don & Honeymoon travels, so there really never was any doubt, that his new venture would be a success. Drawing on a huge pool of bollywood and Fashion talent to create filmi magic.
What about the Wedding Filmer then, well the man quite literally behind the camera puts it perfectly himself.
“ Ever tried watching a wedding video which turns out to be four hours of badly edited, terribly shot & never-ending footage of randomness. It’s plain painful to watch. That’s not what memories should be made up of.”

Sarah & Sanjoy Wedding Film - 16mm & Super 8 Vintage Cinema by { First Kiss Films }
I'm surprised that i don't hear the Romeo and Juliet - Kissing You (Instrumental Theme) in wedding films very often,(first song in the film) it's soo romantic, if you have seen the film you'll know. When I get an email from Bridget of First Kiss Films, i get very happy, and why wouldn't i here she brings you another gem.
Few words about the couple...
Sarah and Sanjoy were married last July along the banks of the Ottawa River. The bride elegantly embraced the groom's Bengali Hindu background and was stunning in the traditional red and gold sari she wore for their ceremony. And just wait until you see the glittering lengha she wore to the reception in the Grand Hall of the Canadian Museum of Civilization...
A wonderful surprise dance performance starring Sanjoy's sister sweetly told the story of the couple's courtship and brought everyone to their feet - it was the highlight of the reception and gives their wedding film a bollywood-inspired ending.
Giving back is a principle we live by. So with every { First Kiss Films } investment, a minimum of 7.5% of proceeds will go to the Burundi Film Center. This non-profit film school provides free film training to local youth living in one of the poorest countries in the world. You can loose your job, your home, but the gift of education is something that can never be taken away.
The films past students have produced have since gone on to play in over 50 international film festivals all over the world, won a number of awards and given the students opportunities for further training in the U.S., Canada, Germany and South Africa. All this has been done only with the help of volunteer filmmakers, donated equipment and donations from friends.
{ First Kiss Films } is proud of the work of the Burundi Film Center and happy to be able to help contribute to this wonderful project.
