Lara Dutta and Mahesh Bhupathi’s sangeet ceremony took place today in Goa at a Candolim beach club.

Sunil Chawla, owner and partner of Club Fresh said "The theme for entire sangeet is white, which matches with the theme of the club. There will be white roses, white jasmines..,"
200 guests from B-town and the sports field graced the occasion

getting ready for the sangeet

looking a little bare..nothing a tonne of fairy lights wont fix

Lara was decked out in a lehanga that has been designed by Manav Gangwani,  Mahesh in a chikankari churidar kurta with the stole matching Lara’s ensemble. More pic's to come...

Food served included - Seafood, sushi, Goan and Pan Asian cuisines.

Music / Entertainment - fusion of bhangra, Hindi oldies, bollywood pop and English remixes being played by dj whosane. Live performances by acrobatic group Lucien Dossier from California.

Highlights of the sangeet -

  • Lara's heart-warming speech for her hubby.
  • Lara's team vs Mahesh's team at the sangeet ceremony, with both teams dancing to chart busters.
  • Lara's team dancing on Shelia Ki Jawaani, Kajrarre, Aisa Jaadoo Dala re.
  • Mahesh's team giving stiff competition by grooving to Maa da Laada, Zor Ka Jhatka and Gal mitthi mitthi bol...

The best one though has to be Mahesh and Raveena Tandon doing an impromptu dance to Kissi disco mein Jaaye.
