The cab door opens. A girl gets out and goes over to gaze into the window of Tiffany’s. This scene, of course, made movie history. We just had our first glimpse of Audrey Hepburn as Holly Golightly.
I was quite young when I first watched Breakfast at Tiffany and for many years I actually thought you could get a cup of coffee and pastry from Tiffany's, and how ironic that Hepburn's had a dislike of pastries.
This year marks the 50th anniversary of the classic movie. How amazing that half a century on and “audrey style” is still giving us inspiration..

Influence is apparent even in Hindi cinema
Sadhana Shivdasani was asked by R.K. Nayyar to style her hair with a fringe (like Audrey Hepburn); this hairstyle later became a craze and is still referred to as the "Sadhana cut" in India
