I'm not really sure how much this applies to me, Asian wedding blogs are still very much in the minority, especially in the UK. Causing a stir was an anon open letter to wedding bloggers, entitled dear wedding bloggers, you suck {read the comments}
You either agreed with the sentiments of the letter or you didn't, and the wedding community came in the hundreds to comment {photographers and bloggers alike} It got people talking that's for sure.
Iv been blogging for a year now, and these discussions are necessary, in someway or other they keep people on their toes and its does make you reevaluate what you do and what you stand for. Personally, I still haven't found "my style" well i guess my style is Asian weddings?
So that's how they do it ~ see how Niemierko, set up this lavish wedding within the English countryside...love hydrangea's

To help the Breakthrough Breast Cancer charity, London Bride, Charley is doing her bit, and making these felt heart brooches, donate and look fashionable, I can't wait to get mine in Hot Pink!
Finally a shout out to Amma over at beyond beyond, on a Friday she does The Follows, {people you should follow} and today's is most worthy of a mention, especially since I nearly fell off my chair laughing, whilst reading this and if your on twitter she is one to follow @beyondbeyond365.

All weddings aren't beautiful , this wasn't a direct response but it summed it up perfectly what you should do when things are said ~Taking Things Personally.

Sad to see Poorna, who was blogging at The Asian Wedding Editors Guide go, it was great following her journey to becoming a married women. Alot brides start blogs, in the run up to the wedding, and sometmes they come to a natural end once they gets married.
I love reading about people who follow their dreams, and do for a living what they love.. one such lady is Lucy Ledger, who makes gorgeous stationery, but also writes a great blog, her latest post she talks how she got to being self employed, and this in turn inspired The Wedding Reporter Emma {more about her next week} to write about her own journey to self employment.
