Arabian Days Inspiration shoot by Jose Villa

If you were to ask me why do you blog? rather than explain I would show you images like this!

The almost to talented to be real, Jose Villa did this editorial shoot and cover for Rue Magazine, Its pretty much made my jaw drop, so inspiring, so beautiful, serene and slightly mysterious, reminds me of the glamour, from the 1930's ~ 40's Hollywood movies.

Asian weddings over the last few year have been heavy inspired by the Moroccan and Arabian style of decor, which usually involves allot of rich colours, this Egyptian inspired shoot, is refreshing in that there is more use of creamy dreamy white/ muted grays, toned down mustard and gilded golds. and the main pop of colour being provided by the fuchsia pink peonies. The arrangements provide beautiful contrasts with delicate cattails and papyrus plant. you can pick up votives like the ones below in sites like luna bazaar
