Paris Couture Week - Elie Saab Couture Fall 2011

I do like to mix it up a little, before we enter into Delhi Couture Week, lets have quick look at Elie Saab at Paris Couture Week. This collection isn't really that dissimilar to the spring/summer one, he does get some flack for this, but i really don't care i just love that he makes gowns that, know would make you feel like a princess and I'm sure clients from all over the world feel the same.

Its almost a case of if it ain't broke, don't fix it, but then is there a lack of pushing the boundaries? In fact Indian designer Manish Malhotra has came under fire for the same thing, safe and repetitive silhouettes.

but either way you can't deny how beautiful the gowns are. What do you think?

  1. They are all beautiful, but they are so transparent, you would need a dress under the dress to be able to wear it out!

  2. I love Elie Saab but this collection I have to say I was a bit disappointed because you do tend to get too bored too soon if the pieces are so similar to the previous collections. Also, I wasn't too fond of the color palette this time...oh well I really do love Elie Saab though, so until next time! :)

Love hearing what you think...
