Pre Wed Hair ~ What Should You Go For?

I was asked a while back, what type of hair to have for a pre wed shoot. Personally I think you should be going for a casual/glam look. Pre weds are about fun, its both of you. Think of them as portraits, you can use for save the dates if you wish.

But whether your hair is short or long, or you want straight or curly, its a must that its trimmed {no split ends here} & well conditioned, then no matter what style you go for you hair will be lush.

If possible, I would suggest going to the salon to get your hair done, something about the way they blow it out, plus its a little pampering, will make you feel great too, and that really shows in your pictures.

What do you think? are you going casual glam, or should you look more bride like??

{Hair} She wore flowers in her hair

I saw some floral hair bands in new look, but they can't compete with fresh flowers, if it would just stop raining for a moment, maybe I could go out and sit in the sun and make my own daisy hair band.

aren't these so ethereal looking? especially love the fishtail braid!

Hair Trends/Ideas - From The Glee Girls

Lea Michele - the Messy Side

Step 1: you can easily achieve Leas's look on a day old hair. Apply Aussie dual personality texturising & conditioning gel spray to make styling more manageable.

Step 2: Slick the sides of your hair back and secure in a small bun at the back using the babyliss elastics and ponytailer leaving the top section loose for curling.

Step 3: Next, heat the babyliss small conical wand and gently curl the front section so that your waves fall forward.

Dianna Agron - Clipped Up Curls

Step 1: Apply TIGI bed head foxy curls contour cream to wet hair before rough drying your lengths

Step 2: Smooth hair using a paddle brush before curling large sections with the Babyliss Pro Dial a Heat tong, For glam curls like Dianna's leave the roots smooth and bring the twists forward to fall over your shoulders

Step 3: Next, pin the sides up with trevor sorbie black bobby pins, or some sparkly pins, allowing the curls to cascade.

Plaits/Braids How To - by Lizzie @ quite quaint blog

This is a follow on from the previous post about braids and here is a simple easy how to with some rather charming pictures courtesy of Lizzie @ quite quaint blog :)

I know what you're thinking; now there's a girl with too much time on her hands! You're probably right, although it actually only took about 10 minutes to transform my hair into something Heidi would be proud of. It's just 3 French plaits, wound around my head, it looks a little messy and there are grips poking out from every angle, but for a first attempt I'm pretty pleased with it. I'm still undecided whether I like it or not, is it a little ridiculous to style yourself on Heidi? (For those of you who are unaware, I'm talking about Heidi, the TV show about the girl who lived in the Swiss Alps, and definitely not Heidi Montag, just to clear that up!)

give it a go, do 2 plaits or 3 the choice is yours...you can see the original blog here

This updo provides a simplistic elegance and is perfect for a party or more formal event.
