Wedding Favours Idea ~ Gummy Yummy Goodness by Jealous

If you had the option of choosing between a sugar almond and a gummy bear, what would you choose?

I know what i would pick, and when Rishi Rich & Manrina Rhode got married so did they, giving guests boxed gummy sweets as favours.

Before the new year the sweet guys at jealous HQ{see what i did there} sent me some little samples, lets say they didn't very last long, but then what do you expect when you have have 2 under 5's at home & a sweet toothed blogger.

If your after something different to give as favours, your looking at it, best of all boxes are bespoke. But you don't need to be getting married to order up some of these vegetarian friendly sweeties.

Do check their facebook page, where you can catch up with their gummy bears shenanigans.

order online or find a stockist - the jealous life see the facebook page

please note this is not a sponsored/paid post, but i was sent a sample of sweets

We Love ~ Elizabeths Cake Emporium

Coming across Elizabeth has been a bit a long time coming I first saw her work on Wedding TV's in a programme called The Great Cake Bake earlier in the year. In it some of the UK's best cake designers compete to design a cake for a bride to be, after hearing what she whats, in this particular show, the theme was shoes, below is what she came up, and its also the cake the bride picked to be the winning cake.

Well after that I have just been in awe of her deasigns and her latest creations, was seen at the Luxury Wedding Show. The stunning 'Chandelier Cake', which stands over 4 feet tall, was inspired by the wedding cake from the movie 'Sex and the City 2, elements of the cake took several weeks to complete and over 10,000 crystals were used in the design. I can see why it was voted best stand, can't you?

White on White Kitchen Tea Party ~ Perfect for a Bridal Party/Shower

Sometimes it nice to take it back to basics. no need to worry about colour clash, this divine shoot is a white on white kitchen tea party, its so fresh, clean and elegant.

I'm smitten with the heart cake, that hello naomi has made, other white rustic sweet treats she made included a vanilla bean butter cream cake, cake pops, vanilla + coconut macrons, scones, profiteroles, Belgian white chocolate rocky road, lemon glazed knot cookies, white chocolate apples and sponge rolls.

This is really inspiring for any shower/party you may have coming up, bridal or baby. The attention to detail is, where it's at if you want to do something like this at home! {i would add a stack of white powered donuts too}

Along side afternoon tea, an activity was planned, something the guest took take away with them and could enjoy after, I hadn't heard of it before but it sounds just lovey, they made "bath tea bags"

Ah but what is that exactly. well stylist romi explained "guests were given a little instruction card to make up their own mixtures of bath teas or they could follow our suggested recipes .... we had oatmeal, lavender, rose petals, goats milk powder, lemon verbena, orange peel, epsom salts and jugs of various yummy essential oils. The idea was they could mix, blend and create whatever fragrance they liked. I then heat sealed the bags and gave back to them (in the little brown heart bags you see pictured) to enjoy in their baths at home. It was a huge success!!"

What a fantastic party idea. { can buy all these ingredients online or in health shops}
